	Welcome!  Please enjoy our website and the information provided to assist you. Hamilton Green is located in Steele Creek, an area in the southwest side of the city of Charlotte, NC.  Hamilton Green is a community of just over 250 homes built by Centex Homes.    Hamilton Green offers many neighborhood amenities; including a pool with cabana, walking trails, sidewalks throughout the neighborhood, and a large common area/playfield.  The neighborhood is minutes from Rivergate Shopping Center and Lake Wylie, on Highway 160.  Paramount’s Carowinds theme park is just minutes away from the neighborhood as well.  Hamilton Green is close to shopping in Charlotte, Pineville and nearby Rock Hill, SC as well as the Charlotte Douglas Airport.  The schools that serve the neighborhood are Winget Elementary, new in 2006, Steel Creek Middle School, and Olympic High.  Within just a few miles of the neighborhood, there are major retail shopping centers and restaurants.  At Hamilton Green, you can have high-quality living in a beautiful community and still have access to all that the city offers.

	Annual Homeowners Yard Sale The Hamilton Green Homeowners annual yard sale will be held this weekend May 17^th. It will be from 7AM until 12 PM. This should be quite the sale. After the yard sale, the Kidney foundation will be coming around to collect donations. If you have any donations please place them at the end of your driveway after the sale.  These items need to be marked KF or they will not pick these items up.  Please call the Kidney foundation at 704 393-5780 to arrange a pickup or place a sign at the end of the street for the Kidney Foundation Pick-up so they will know items are on that street.  Thanks Cynthia Anderson for this added Kidney Foundation information. Pool opening!  The pool will be opening this Memorial Day weekend. Get those swim suits ready. New monitoring hours will be posted soon. Hope to see you there. Annual BBQ! This event is general held with the opening of the pool. But, Since so many us leave the area on that weekend, the BBQ will be held on May 31^st.
